Product Development Technician

Join a team developing innovative food equipment that supports grocery, retail, and foodservice operations worldwide.
Based full-time onsite in Troy, Ohio, you'll collaborate with engineers to design, build, and maintain industry-leading machinery, contributing to market expansion and product advancement.

• Work from prints, sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions, using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machinery such as lathes, mills, and welders.
• Discuss requirements with engineering, improvise tooling, and set-ups for machining, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes and test fixtures.
• Select appropriate machining parameters, work with various metals, and create or rework prototype or production parts as needed.
• Perform assembly, install pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components, conduct testing, troubleshoot, and modify parts.
• Coordinate with vendors for prototype work beyond in-house capabilities and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include at least 3 years of related experience, knowledge of shop mathematics, machine shop practices, and CAD experience preferred. Must work from prints and instructions with ingenuity and sound judgment, demonstrating integrity and reliability. Compensation depends on experience.
