Responsibilities Location: Herndon, VA
The Systems Development Manager will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Manages a group of Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and support personnel in design, implementation, and system integration of complex systems solutions.
Evaluates the Agencys existing systems and needs to recommend solutions. Solutions range from the development of bench prototypes to the deployment of turn-key complex systems.
Leads a team in the analysis of Agency needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, then proceeding with design synthesis and system validation while considering the complete solution.
Attends presentations or develops proposals, acting as the technical expert.
Assigns project staff to installations/implementations and monitors deliverables to ensure Agency needs are met successfully and in a timely fashion.
Gathers feedback and suggests new products/services or makes recommendations for improvements to existing products/services.
Provides expert guidance on the integration and implementation of Company's solutions into a wide variety of Agency environments.
Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
Work with the government team to clarify requirements (initiatives, epics, & stories)
Manage and refine product feature backlog
Lead user story development and definition of acceptance criteria
Prioritize functionality into sprints and coordinate management of expectations
Support program level functional roadmap development
Provide functional needs and depth of understanding to the team during sprint planning
Support system demos
Help identify and manage internal and external dependencies
Coordinate efforts across the program and work dependencies with the greater team
Support Product Team scrum meetings
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Active (currently in use) TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or ability to successfully pass a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in a field of study applicable to the position with 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 4 of those years in a supervisory capacity
Excellent communication skills and ability to relay technical information to customers and laypersons
Working knowledge of DoD Collection Management Process
Experience with IC Intelligence Enterprise SAFe experience in developing large-scale intelligence applications
Experience with Atlassian suite of tools
Familiar with Git

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000
This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
