Description

We are a manufacturer of custom compounds and color concentrates looking for a full-time person to work in our office administration to manage everyday aspects of customer service and production control.  Our position requires a strong skillset in typing, strong knowledge in Excel, the ability to learn quickly in our fast-paced environment and the desire to grown within our company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create work orders and production schedules to balance the workload to maximize operation efficiency, output and customer due dates
  • Track work order status throughout the production cycle and assist in determining corrective action as issues arise
  • Keeps scheduler apprised of any condition that may impact production schedules such as potential raw material shortages, delays, or issues that may require the customer to be contacted
  • Confer with production and procurement departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
  • Create packing slips and bill of ladings using Quickbooks, Word and Excel
  • As part of the front office team, provide backup support to answering phone, corresponding with customers, and other daily duties as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent planning, organizational, critical thinking and communicating skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word and knowledge in Quickbooks
  • Basic math skills with emphasis on percentages and fractions
  • Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor
