A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PRODUCTION MANAGER
As a Production Manager you will lead the production team armed with energy, insight into efficient production, and the drive to ensure each employee gets the most out of their career and that every home is built as if it were their own. Every member of our team is a key contributor to the process of making manufactured homes by focusing on maintaining the highest quality, safe work behaviors, solid teamwork, continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and a relentless attention to detail. Summary Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s) by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise the plant employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school; 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
