Summary:

The Program Manager MD Staff Database is a highly organized and detail-oriented MD Staff Database Manager who will oversee the MD Staff improvement projects. The Program Manager MD Staff Database will collaborate closely with medical staff offices, and legal to streamline data management processes and implement best practices for data integrity and security. In a High-Reliability Organization, reporting to the System Director of Credentialing, the Program Manager is responsible for the implementation of key project initiatives to drive process improvement through standardization and streamlining credentialing software processes to optimize operations across the enterprise and achieve high clinician satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:

  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Develop and maintain the MD Staff database, implementing key improvement projects ensuring accurate and complete records of all medical personnel.
  • Act as a functional and technical resource and system expert for the credentialing database.
  • Lead and/or participate in special project teams as assigned.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in medical staff offices and legal to integrate data from various sources into the database and ensure data consistency.
  • Implement and support compliance with MD Staff data management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Train staff on database use and best practices for data entry and retrieval outlined in the improvement projects.
  • Generate reports and analytics on MD Staff demographics, credentials, and other relevant metrics as required.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues related to data integrity and accessibility.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in MD Staff database management technologies.
  • Has excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of proven experience in database management, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment required.
  • Expert experience in MD Staff credentialing software is required.
  • Experience in leading and managing multi-functional teams to improve processes required.
  • Strong understanding of database structure, data governance, and data security principles required.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • MD-Staff certification required.
