Program Manager / NAPBC Certification Specialist

Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: $80 – $87/hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly organized Program Manager / Certification Specialist to support the development, implementation, and accreditation management of a nationally recognized breast care accreditation program. This role will lead accreditation readiness initiatives, oversee program development activities, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage quality improvement and regulatory compliance efforts within a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, healthcare program coordination experience, and in-depth knowledge of oncology accreditation standards, certification requirements, and healthcare regulatory processes.


Key Responsibilities

Program Development & Accreditation Management

  • Lead the development, evaluation, and implementation of accreditation program initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and fulfillment of certification requirements
  • Develop and maintain accreditation-related documentation including policies, procedures, protocols, compliance reports, and corrective action plans
  • Coordinate and support accreditation site visits, audits, and survey readiness activities
  • Assist with value-based care and operational improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with physician leadership and multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with accreditation standards
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies

Project & Operations Management

  • Independently manage assigned workstreams through all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery
  • Provide operational and administrative support for healthcare program initiatives
  • Coordinate across departments including Facilities, IT, Supply Chain, Safety, and Clinical Operations
  • Develop and implement workflows and operational process improvements
  • Support staffing coordination and resource allocation as needed
  • Assist with launch and ongoing operational oversight of healthcare initiatives and programs

Quality Improvement & Reporting

  • Compile, analyze, and present program data and quality metrics
  • Interpret performance indicators and identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Prepare reports for leadership teams, committees, and accreditation bodies
  • Maintain organized documentation management systems and project records
  • Attend and document committee and accreditation-related meetings
  • Distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items

Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through accreditation and compliance activities
  • Build collaborative relationships with physicians, administrators, public health entities, and community organizations
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Escalate high-priority risks, barriers, or operational concerns proactively
  • Deliver professional presentations and communications to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in program management, accreditation, or healthcare operations required
  • Prior experience with:
    • Breast center accreditation programs
    • Oncology standards and compliance
    • Healthcare program development
    • Regulatory and policy-based projects
  • Previous project management experience overseeing operational initiatives preferred
  • Experience within healthcare systems, hospitals, public health, or government organizations preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior healthcare or public health experience in New York City preferred
  • Previous staff management experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
  • Local candidates preferred
