Compensation: $50.00 - 70.00/per hour

About this role: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical migration project transitioning a core banking system from Jack Henry CIF 20/20 to SilverLake. This role will help oversee the migration, including planning, data conversion, testing, and implementation, while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and minimizing operational risk. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and deliver a seamless transition that supports business continuity and enhances system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Project Planning & Scope Definition - Develop a detailed project plan outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Define scope for migration, including data conversion, system configuration, and testing phases.
- Stakeholder Coordination -Act as the liaison between internal teams (IT, operations, compliance) and external vendors (Jack Henry). Facilitate communication to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Data Migration Oversight -Ensure accurate transfer of customer information from CIF 20/20 to SilverLake. Validate data integrity and manage any data cleansing or mapping requirements.
- Risk Management - Identify potential risks (data loss, downtime, compliance issues) and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor regulatory compliance throughout the migration process.
- Testing & Quality Assurance - Coordinate system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure all functionalities in SilverLake meet business requirements before go-live.
- Vendor & Resource Management - Manage Jack Henry support and any third-party consultants. Allocate internal resources effectively for migration tasks.
- Training & Change Management - Oversee training for staff on SilverLake functionalities. Develop documentation and support materials for smooth adoption.
- Reporting & Status Updates - Provide regular progress reports to leadership. Track KPIs such as migration accuracy, downtime, and user readiness.
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years working with Jack Henry (Core Banking Software)
- 3+ years experience with Project Management
- Experience with a Jack Henry conversion or upgrade (example from CIF 20/20 to Silverlake)
- Strong communication skills
- Assertive and curious
Bonus Skills:
- Familiar with accounting side of Jack Henry (big plus).
- Configuration experience with Jack Henry
- Experience with Ticketing Systems like JIRA
- SharePoint
- Confluence
