We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Project Manager to join our thriving team in the construction industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a diverse range of projects, from inception to completion, within the public works and education sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiation, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex construction projects and a passion for excellence in project delivery.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing the complete lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning and feasibility to design, construction, commissioning, handover, and review.
2. Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including project scope, timelines, costs, and resources, to ensure that project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
3. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
4. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations.
6. Preparing and presenting regular project reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
7. Facilitating the resolution of any project disputes or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in public works or education construction projects.
2. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. NOT REQUIRED.
3. Proven experience in managing all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and handover.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and industry best practices.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and manage project risks and issues.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification would be an advantage.
