As a Psychiatrist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications for behavioral health and psychological disorders. This is an outpatient clinical environment where you will interact directly with patients.

Our leading team of licensed psychiatrists and psychologists represent extensive and diverse expertise to facilitate superior and highly personalized treatment plans for a full scope of mental health issues for children, adolescents, and adults including attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, and all anxiety spectrum disorders.

This is a full-time, 1.0 position (28 billable / 40 total hours per week) that offers the ability to flex your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of the client. The position is based out of our office at 4753 N. Broadway St. in Chicago. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Chicago. Opportunities to occasionally work from home doing telehealth sessions may be considered. This is a salaried position with quarterly bonus potential after six months of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform acute and long-term psychiatric care, including:

• Assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and management of mental health conditions
• Communicating condition information
• Preventative care
• Understanding patient medical history, current mental health status, serious mental illness symptoms, behavioral disorders, chronic disease, substance abuse, and other factors impacting mental health
• Creating and updating treatment plans
• Clinical documentation
• Medication management
• Medication administration
• Patient monitoring
• Psychotherapy
• Crisis intervention
• Promoting mental health awareness
• Educating patient and families
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals
• Ordering and interpreting lab tests and diagnostic testing
• Making referrals
• Supervision
