Northeast Georgia Health System is recruiting a Pulmonology Medical Director to lead the growth of a new program.  Our Pulmonology program has been created due to community need and to deliver high quality education to our new GME programs which started in 2019. 

Education, Training, & Experience

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Pulmonology
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
• Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals.
• Desire to lead a growing Pulmonology team.

Pulmonology Program Overview

• Full-time position
• Six board certified Pulmonologists (General and Interventional)
• New Medical Park 2 building with complete Pulmonology offices
• 12 MICU, 12 STICU and 35 CCU/CVICU beds in Gainesville
• 18 bed MICU at sister campus in Braselton, GA
• Pulmonologists work in Critical Care, Inpatient & Outpatient Pulmonology
• Level II trauma center
• EMR Platform - EPIC
