How you'll make an impact in this role
- Manage the procurement lifecycle for organizational supplies and purchases, including preparing purchase orders, verifying specifications, tracking order status, and coordinating with end-users and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Source products and services by researching pricing and availability, consulting catalogs, contracts, and suppliers, obtaining competitive bids when appropriate, and conducting bid analyses to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supply and vendor management for HOPE, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained, monitoring product availability, coordinating with vendors regarding shipments and backorders, identifying alternative sourcing solutions, and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory control and facility operations, including analyzing inventory usage trends, determining replenishment requirements, maintaining stock availability, ordering supplies, and coordinating general facility maintenance and repairs ranging from routine building upkeep to addressing operational issues such as plumbing, equipment, and other facility-related needs.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
