The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, troubleshooting expertise, attention to detail, and experience in thoroughly testing electronic devices. Lab Engineers collaborate with Hardware and Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers to ensure device performance and operation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including test strategy, planning, and execution
- Knowledge of UNIX environment is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience scripting in Python
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in black box and grey box testing, QA tools, and working within short release cycles
- Experience testing Linux and/or Android devices
- Strong understanding of QA toolchains and automation scripting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
