Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector with a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of manufacturing QA experience, preferably in aerospace or defense.
Responsibilities include conducting visual and mechanical inspections of incoming parts, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with strict quality standards, identifying defects, and determining acceptance, rejection, or rework needs. You will develop and maintain quality procedures and standards and utilize precision measurement tools and non-destructive testing equipment.
Qualifications include proficiency with measurement tools, ability to interpret technical drawings, and experience working independently and with team communication. Preferred qualifications include industry-specific certifications, knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9000 and AS 9100, and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
Physical demands involve lifting up to 25 lbs, extended standing, and working in noisy environments. Occasional travel may be required. The role offers comprehensive benefits and requires eligibility for security clearance.
