Job Title:
Quality Control Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedQuality Control (QC) Managerto lead and manage our in-house quality control program. This role is essential to ensuring product quality, overseeing QC inspectors, and maintaining accurate production reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • QC Management:

  • Lead and oversee the in-house quality control program.

  • Conduct daily quality checks and audits of products and processes.

  • Supervise and provide direction to QC inspectors.

  • Quality Reporting & Improvement:

  • Report all quality issues promptly and accurately.

  • Develop and implement corrective procedures for quality concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards.

  • Inventory Management:

  • Conduct daily inventory checks.

  • Update daily inventory reports.

  • Production Reporting:

  • Collect and compile daily production numbers.

  • Prepare and present production results to the office manager.

  • Lumber Label Management:

  • Receive and print lumber labels using the Mill Manager program.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in quality control. Wood or packaging related experience helpful.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in using inventory and production management software.

  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
