Venteon is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in East Tawas, MI
Requirements of the Quality Engineer
3+ Years Manufacturing Quality experience
Strong engineering background
Knowledge of welding processes and testing requirements
Auditing certification for IATF16949, VDA, ISO14001 standards
Ability to read and interpret Blueprints / GD&T
AIAG Core Tools Training (APQP, PPAP, D/PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.)

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer
Initiate and maintain customer interface and support
Create/Update all APQP documents including FMEA, Control Plans and Flow Diagrams.
Follow AIAG APQP procedures and Customer-specific requirements
PPAP submissions
Continuous improvement of plant scrap, process capability, and quality cost activities
Responsible for addressing customer concerns through corrective action activities, action plans, customer-specific reporting techniques, etc.
Maintain quality management system to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and customer specific requirements
