JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. is hiring a Quality Team Leader in Madison, AL. This role supports production by leading quality control activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and promoting continuous improvement on the line. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Attend pre-shift meetings to report on quality issues, customer requests, and scrap/rework trends
2. Communicate shift-end pass downs to management via email
3. Respond to nonconforming conditions and support team leads in resolving issues
4. Coordinate defect sorting and work with inspectors to maintain quality flow
5. Monitor and update QIR/QPR logs, reports, and documentation
6. Conduct and oversee regular audits (critical, countermeasure, torque, tool checks)
7. Ensure calibrated tools and pokayoke systems are in use and up to spec
8. Maintain quality records, including defect logs, supplier issues, and scrap data
9. Support training and development of quality associates
10. Attend model change trials and apply updated quality procedures
11. Fill in during PTO or absences and help lead day-to-day team operations
12. Report delays or problems promptly and assist in continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Prior quality or manufacturing team leadership experience preferred
3. Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
4. Able to interpret work instructions, quality standards, and audit procedures
5. Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physical tasks as needed
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools
