Job Description:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive contractor to support our Research & Development (R&D) team in documenting and standardizing key operational processes.
  • This position plays a vital role in enhancing internal efficiency, ensuring compliance, and promoting knowledge sharing across teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with R&D engineers and team leads to identify and catalog existing processes.
  • Facilitate working sessions to draft standard work documents and process flow diagrams.
  • Populate standard procedure templates with clear, accurate, and complete information.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and designated approvers to review, revise, and finalize documentation.
  • Ensure that all finalized documents are published and stored in appropriate repositories.
  • Track documentation progress and provide regular status updates to R&D leadership.
Requirements:
  • As the R&D operations evolve in complexity, this role is crucial to formalizing and maintaining core processes. Key objectives include:
  • Creating a comprehensive inventory of current operational workflows.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to develop standardized work instructions and process flows.
  • Managing the full documentation lifecycle from drafting to final approval.
  • Ensuring accessible, organized storage of all approved documents to support ongoing operational excellence.
  • 5 7 years of relevant experience in process documentation, technical writing, or R&D operations.
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams and using documentation templates.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with documentation control systems and workflow management.
