The Learning Leadership and Innovation/ELAR District Coordinator (Reading/Language Arts, grades 6-12) promotes instructional quality and leads the planning, development, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of the district's English/Language Arts and Early Literacy programs.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with emphasis in English and/or Reading, a valid teaching certificate, and at least five years of classroom experience in English/Reading.
Skills required encompass strong knowledge of English/Reading/Writing, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, effective organizational skills, proficiency with technology, and the capacity to conduct model lessons and collaborate with staff.
This exempt position reports to the Chief Academic Officer, is based in Learning, Leadership, and Innovation, and involves 226 workdays annually. Applications are reviewed, but not all candidates will be interviewed.
