Recruiting Coordinator

MainStreet Family Care operates a rapidly growing population of urgent care/primary care clinics throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia and most recently, we expanded into our fourth state - North Carolina! We aren't slowing down anytime soon and will double in size in 2023!

To support this growth, our Talent Acquisition team is growing. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an organized, fast-paced individual with excellent communication skills to launch or advance their recruiting career.

Location: On-site in Downtown Birmingham, AL

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Essential Functions:
  • Works directly with recruiters, candidates and hiring managers to schedule all interviews and phone screens.
  • Updates candidate records and job postings in recruiting tracking systems.
  • Provides follow-up correspondence to hiring managers and candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.
  • Tracks recruiting activities and provides candidate status in a weekly report.
  • Supports HR in candidate onboarding to ensure a smooth and polished process.
  • Basic administrative duties for the Human Resources Department/Talent Acquisition Team as necessary.
Preferred Requirements/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
