The Redevelopment Specialist supports the coordination and execution of city redevelopment projects under the supervision of the CRA Administrator.
Responsibilities include assisting with project management, bid solicitation, contract oversight, budget tracking, and preparing reports and agenda materials.
They manage communication efforts, update the CRA website, organize events, and facilitate public relations.
The role involves interfacing with community stakeholders, identifying funding sources, and developing new project ideas.
Qualifications include an associate degree or higher in a relevant field, at least two years of CRA or economic development experience, and certification by the Florida Redevelopment Association is preferred.
Knowledge of Florida Statutes, financial techniques, and excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills are essential.
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to work during emergencies.
