• Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
• Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
• Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
• Floating Required: Yes
• Charge Capability:Highly Preferred
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Scheduling Note: Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed

Required Qualifications & Credentials

• Active New York RN License (verified via NURSYS)
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience, including some Pediatrics
• Travel nursing experience required 
• Current AHA Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC (must be in hand at submission)
• EMR Experience: EPIC (required)
• Two (2) recent ED Charge Nurse or Manager RN references
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
• RTO must be submitted at time of application

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams during emergency and trauma situations
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
• Support unit operations, including floating and charge responsibilities as needed
