Description:
• This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care, located in New York, NY, working onsite.
• It is a contract role with a 3x12 schedule, including weekends. Candidates must have experience in patient care assessment, care planning, and electronic health records.
Requirements:
• Provide safe and competent care based on nursing theory and research.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team for care planning.
• Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and health promotion.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model.
• Use evidence-based practices to enhance patient care experience.
Qualifications:
• Valid NYS RN License.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Unit experience.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• 1 year travel experience for Travel positions, not required for Per Diem positions.
• Experience with electronic health records highly preferred.
