Registered Nurse - NICU

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks (05/05/2026 - 08/01/2026)
• Shift: 12Hour Days, 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• On Call Requirement: None
• Holiday Work Requirement: July 4th

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for neonates in a Level IV NICU setting.
• Float to ICU's (PICU or CICU) and acute care floors when necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to all clinical protocols.
• Maintain competence within the scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required; ADN considered with 8 years of Level IV NICU experience in a teaching and children's facility.
• Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, PALS, ACLS, BLS.
• Minimum Clinical Experience: 2 years of Level IV NICU experience.
• Must have tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Preferred Skills:

• Pediatric CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is advantageous.
• PICU experience is a plus, but not required.
