Position Summary: Assists with patient care activities and performs maintenance functions of the department. The primary function is to perform designated routine tasks related to the operation of the physical therapy service, assist with patient related activities that are predetermined for each patient and are assigned by a registered physical therapist.
Functions as an aide to the PT, PTA, OT, and Wound Care Nurse when assisting on modified sterile procedures under the direct supervison of the licensed professional.
Correctly sets up a modified sterile field as assigned
Follows guidelines from Therapist/wound care nurses for stocking wound care cart.
Orders supplies for department
Performs other related functions as assigned.
