Company Overview: A fast-growing lumber wholesaler is seeking an experienced Lumber or Commodity Trader to join our remote trading team. We specialize in supplying dimension lumber, panels, truss components, and pallet cut stock to manufacturers, truss builders, and construction-related companies nationwide.

We focus on relationships, integrity, and performance — giving traders the tools and freedom to grow their business on their own terms.

Position Details:

We’re looking for a proven lumber trader with a current book of business who wants more independence, higher earning potential, and full operational support. This is a 1099 independent contractor role — perfect for self-driven professionals ready to take control of their success.

What We Offer:

•  Top industry commission plan:

  • $0–250K = 50%

  • 
    

    $250–400K = 55%

  • 
    

    $450K = 60% (rollover structure – never reset)

Responsibilities:

• Buy and sell lumber, panels, and related building materials

• 
  

  Manage and grow your customer base and supplier relationships

• 
  

  Negotiate pricing, freight, and delivery terms

• 
  

  Monitor lumber market trends and futures to optimize profitability

• 
  

  Coordinate with support staff for logistics and fulfillment

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in lumber, panels, or commodities trading

• 
  

  Active book of business required

• 
  

  Proven sales and relationship management track record

• 
  

  Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and growth

• 
  

  Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Compensation:

• 1099 contractor position
