We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in Korean-English interpretation, business translation, client-facing communication, sales meetings, stakeholder discussions, and culturally appropriate bilingual communication.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on real-time Korean-English interpretation, business meeting support, professional translation, sales discussion facilitation, written follow-up translation, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their bilingual communication expertise to support smooth, accurate, and context-aware communication between Korean- and English-speaking participants.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Business Meeting Interpretation

  • Provide Korean-English interpretation during virtual or in-person business meetings, client discussions, sales calls, and stakeholder conversations
  • Support simultaneous or consecutive interpretation depending on meeting format and project needs
  • Convey meaning, tone, intent, and business context accurately under time constraints
  • Maintain professional communication standards across sales, partnership, technology, and client-facing discussions

Written Translation & Follow-Up Support

  • Translate written meeting materials, chat messages, key points, summaries, follow-up notes, and business communications where needed
  • Ensure translated content is accurate, clear, culturally appropriate, and aligned with professional business tone
  • Review business terminology, meeting context, and discussion objectives before interpretation sessions
  • Support clear communication between internal teams, clients, partners, and external stakeholders

Cultural, Professional & Confidential Communication

  • Apply cultural sensitivity and business judgment when facilitating bilingual communication
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy across all interpretation and translation tasks
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to understand relevant terminology, background, and meeting goals
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and strong professional judgment across submitted work

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • Proven experience as a Korean-English interpreter or translator in corporate, sales, client-facing, business development, or professional environments
  • Native-level fluency in Korean and English, including strong spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business terminology, sales language, partnerships, client communication, and technology-related discussions
  • Ability to interpret accurately and quickly during live conversations
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders or client-facing teams
  • Strong professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

Educational Background

  • A degree or professional background in translation, interpretation, Korean language, English language, business, communications, international relations, linguistics, or a related field is helpful
  • Equivalent practical experience in Korean-English business interpretation, corporate translation, client communication, or bilingual business support is also highly relevant

Nice to Have

  • Experience translating or interpreting for startups, technology companies, multinational companies, sales teams, partnerships teams, or business development teams
  • Familiarity with client presentations, negotiations, investor discussions, sales enablement, customer success, or executive meetings
  • Comfort using platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar business tools
  • Experience preparing meeting summaries, bilingual notes, follow-up communications, or terminology glossaries
  • Strong ability to remain calm, accurate, and polished during fast-moving business discussions
