Research Associate

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Research Associate for our client in the Pharmaceutical domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: San Diego, CA

Salary: $20.00-$25.00/Hourly

Primary Skills: Data Analysis

Role Description: The Research Associate must have 6+ years of experience. 

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform and analyze moderately complex chemistry experiments with guidance from a supervisor, contributing to experimental design and study protocols. 

- Document experimental procedures and results in lab notebooks and assist in summarizing and interpreting data. 

- Present research findings in meetings and communicate effectively with team members. 

- Support validation and verification (V&V) studies by drafting reports and protocols under supervision. 

- Handle chemical and biological samples following safety protocols, including Universal Precautions.

Qualifications:

- B.A./B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

- 0-2 years of laboratory experience in industry or academia.

- M.S. without a thesis is acceptable.

Education: BS degree in Engineering or Chemistry or Biochemistry

Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of experience 0-2 preferred

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
