Overview of the Resident Funds Accountantrole:
- Serve as a fiduciary of resident funds and ensure that unauthorized individuals are denied access to accounts
- Writs checks, process withdrawals and execute deposits for all activities related to resident fund accounts
- Coordinate with residents, their families or other responsible parties to obtain appropriate documentation prior to processing any reimbursements or payments
- Furnish quarterly bank statements to the residents and/or responsible parties
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Associate Degree in Accounting
- 2+ years' experience
- Bookkeeping experience a plus
- Bank teller experience a plus
