This position involves providing prompt, accurate service to create an enjoyable drinking experience for guests while adhering to all applicable laws and company values such as respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Take beverage orders from guests and serving staff, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and portion control.
- Stock, prepare, and store garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
- Monitor guests for proper identification and follow liquor laws regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including making change and recording charges.
- Maintain cleanliness by sterilizing glasses, utensils, and bar equipment, and keeping the bar area tidy.
- Arrange bottles and glasses attractively and attend team meetings to suggest improvements.
- Must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications: Minimum 6 months bartending experience, 21+ years old, ability to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds, with strong customer service, communication, and knowledge of liquor laws. Preferred: 1 year experience and an alcohol service permit.
