The Restoration Technician performs emergency and contents restoration for residential and commercial properties, adhering to safety protocols and handling hazardous materials. Responsibilities include cleanup, packing contents, equipment setup, inventory management, and routine maintenance. Must work in challenging environments, often at heights and with hazardous substances, and be available for after-hours and weekend emergencies. Requires physical strength to lift up to 75 pounds, good health, and the ability to wear respirators. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2-4 years of construction experience, OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification. Construction experience and IICRC Water Restoration certification are pluses. Must follow safety policies, communicate effectively, and have a positive work ethic. Bilingual skills are encouraged. Frequent travel and work in demanding conditions are expected.
