A commercial interior design and manufacturing firm specializing in acoustic solutions is seeking a Rhino Designer for a contract-to-hire role in Chicago, IL.
- Develops drawings and documentation throughout project lifecycle, from design to engineering
- Shares project ownership from assignment through installation
- Communicates schedule and project needs to the Design Manager
- Maintains organized digital project files and verifies product layouts
- Creates custom design solutions and prototypes for feasibility
- Participates in client meetings to gather feedback and define product requirements
- Packages complete specifications for design, engineering, and production
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, 2+ years of experience in commercial design, proficiency in Rhino, familiarity with Grasshopper, AutoCAD/Revit, and digital fabrication skills.
The role offers pay between $28.37 and $38.46/hr, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, and more. It is fully onsite with an application deadline of May 27, 2026.
