We're looking for someone to join our team as a Program Manager, Clinical Education for Neonatal ICU - NICU.
In this role you will assist in identifying clinical problems and needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions or systems to meet NICU and organizational goals. The NICU Program Manager, Clinical Education is actively involved with the NICU Shared Governance and serves as an active participant on the NICU Unit Based Council. In this role you will collaborate with the NICU Nurse Manager and NICU Medical Director to maintain clinical standards for the unit and regularly participate in unit-level multidisciplinary rounds and provide clinical leadership at rounds. You will utilze your nursing expertise and specialization to provide education to community partners and members of the health care team.
Coordinates and implements orientation, training, and continuing education for clinical nursing staff. Serves as expert and resource to staff and managers in regard to patient care standards for area of clinical specialty. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Manages large program(s) with substantial budget/impact.
