Position Summary: The Clinical Research Coordinator will be able to organize, facilitate and implement research studies of investigational pharmaceuticals or devices under the guidance of the principal investigator, and in compliance with GCP-ICH Guidelines, and the Code of Federal Regulations. Coordinate concurrent clinical research studies in the enrollment and follow-up phases. Follow requirements of study protocol. Assess patient recruitment strategy at weekly intervals. Assist with patient recruitment efforts as approved per IRB and Sponsor/CRO. Review patient charts per study criteria and evaluate appropriateness for study enrollment, per recruitment strategies. Maintain professional behavior with physicians, co-workers, patients and staff of pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations. Some travel may be required for investigator meetings.
This position will be located at the Mercy Tower: 4200 W Memorial Rd | Suite 510 | Oklahoma City, OK 73120 for Oklahoma Heart Hospital Research Foundation
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program preferred. Minimum of an Associates degree required.
Licensure/ Certification: Registered Nurse/ RN with current Oklahoma Licensure preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience required, five (5) preferred. Cardiac experience preferred. Applicants for the role should have a minimum of one year of clinical research coordinator experience as a CRC, CRA, etc. or combination of, and/or relevant clinical research experience. Cardiac experience (Nursing, Cardiac Cath. Lab, or related) is highly desirable.
