Psychiatric Registered Nurse - Full Time

  • Be an active member of the multi-disciplinary patient treatment team
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Provide general and psychiatric patient care
  • Document and communicate unusual changes in client behaviors
  • Assist with patient groups and activities

With proper training, you will work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs. You will be trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma informed care, therapeutic boundaries, and crisis intervention techniques.

Pembroke Hospital has 120 beds, offering psychiatric treatment to teens, adults and older adults. Our services are designed to assess, stabilize and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. We emphasize family involvement as an essential component of the recovery process.

Treatment programs are offered at multiple levels of care to accommodate the severity of each patient’s condition.

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice nursing in MA (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting
  • all shifts available, every other weekend, every other holiday work required; Full time schedules are 32 hours per week, 4 eight (8) hour shifts; extra shifts available for pick up.
  • Shift differentials paid on weekends, evening and overnight shifts
