The Robotics Data Engineer position is a full-time role located in Warren, MI or Mountain View, CA.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning systems, or robotics, with a Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
The role involves building production-grade data pipelines for ML/AI systems, working with complex multimodal datasets, and supporting robotics perception and manipulation AI.
Expertise in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, data labeling tools, and familiarity with simulation platforms like Isaac Sim is required.
Responsibilities include designing scalable data pipelines for large robotic datasets, supporting high-throughput data capture from real robots and simulations, developing semi-supervised labeling workflows, enabling Sim2Real data workflows, managing data versioning and governance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs.
The role emphasizes data quality metrics aligned with perception and grasping performance.
