Ruby on Rails Developer

Genesis10 is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer with our financial services client in New York, NY. This is a twelve-month contract position requiring 3 days a week onsite.

Summary and Responsibilities:

• Work with onshore business teams to develop software new applications and enhancements.
• Unit test the solution and document the implemented design, procedures and manuals for the final software solution.
• Resolve production support issues and coordinate release of new applications and enhancements.

Required Skills:

• 1-3 years of Ruby on Rails programming experience object-oriented programming
• SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle)
• Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Skills:

• 3-5 years of Ruby on Rails programming experience
• Java, object-oriented programming
• SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle), RESTful api development, servce-oriented design, microservices, Pub/Sub (messaging)

This position pays $75/hr -$80/hr W2 depending on experience
