Application Engineer (Electrical / Industrial Systems)
We’re looking for a hands-on Application Engineer who can move quickly from concept to quote to execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, customer-facing environment and wants to make a direct impact on complex electrical and industrial projects.
You’ll lead pre-sales support, develop quotations, and help deliver solutions across power distribution, automation, and mining-related systems—including E-Houses, substations, switchgear, and control systems.
What You’ll Do
- Own the quotation process from initial request through final submission
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and specifications
- Develop accurate, competitive proposals for electrical and industrial systems
- Partner with engineering, sales, and production to deliver customer-ready solutions
- Support orders through production and provide clear, proactive customer updates
- Troubleshoot technical and process issues with minimal direction
- Build strong customer relationships through responsive, consultative support
- Present technical information clearly—internally and externally
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in quotations, application engineering, or technical sales
- Background in switchgear, substations, E-Houses, industrial power systems, or similar
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and system layouts
- Experience developing product specs and project-based quotes
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred)
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
