Hours: 1st Shift
Objective
Process customer orders, manage customer inquiries, and support sales operations within a manufacturing environment using ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchase orders and enter data into ERP system
- Handle customer billing and service issues
- Generate and distribute open order reports, delivery reports, and end-of-month quotation figures
- Field expediting and service inquiries from customers
- Follow up on customer quotations and document feedback in ERP system
- Complete NPD metric results compilation and documentation peer reviews
- Identify customer prospects based on established criteria
- Support sales team operations and assist with marketing efforts
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years sales or customer service experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and bills of material
- Experience using ERP systems
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications
- Ability to work in manufacturing shop environment (hot, cold, noisy areas)
