GENERAL DISCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
We are hiring 3rd shift Sanitation Techs to support our operations. In this role, you will sanitize assigned areas of production following the Sani Tech SOP and work in a safe manner while using chemicals and disassembling and reassembling equipment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Must be able to work with chemicals
Must be able to repeatedly climb, push and pull extensively over the shift
Must be able to disassemble and reassemble equipment, requiring extensive lifting
Must be able to work independently and with limited supervision
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Employee must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP’s related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
Support special projects and other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
·Should be able to read and work in a fast-paced production environment.
·Previous sanitation experience is preferred.
Ability to work overtime including weekends as required
Ability to work with and around chemicals
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in cold temperatures (32-35 degrees)
Willing to follow PPE protocol (hairnet, hardhat, gloves, smock/ safety vest)
jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rings, watches) are not permitted on production floors
Must be able to stand, walk, climb and work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods of time.
Ability to maneuver around an array of equipment, to work in a cold environment, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in a cold environment (35* on Plant floor).
WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
5-day / 8-hour work schedule
Every Saturday night off
SHIFT DETAILS:
3rd Shift- $19.45/hour
10:00 PM –7:00am (Shift may run over if depending on pre-op inspection)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High School Diploma required.
