Seeking a passionate and caring Science Teacher for a long-term substitute position from September to December for grades 6-8.
Responsibilities include creating a safe, inclusive environment, engaging students with active lessons, and supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth. The role involves teaching Physical Science and Advanced Life Science, following provided curricula, supervising students, collaborating with staff, and communicating with parents.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field, knowledge of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies, strong communication skills, and preferred two years of middle school teaching experience.
