Seeking a Screw Machine Set-up Technician for a limited duration (approximately 2-3 months) to support screw machine operations in Clackamas, Oregon.
Primary responsibilities include supporting preventative maintenance, training less experienced operators, documenting machine setups, reading plans and tolerances, inspecting parts, troubleshooting machine issues, and collaborating with engineers to develop new processes.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience with screw machines, especially Acme Gridley models, and possesses strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This role requires a thorough understanding of manufacturing quality systems, ability to interpret drawings, and perform precise measurements.
