Seeking an experienced Senior Architect/Engineer to support a boiler building and controls project at a VA Medical Center in Miami, FL. Responsibilities include report generation, project monitoring, design reviews, code compliance, quality and cost control, and oversight of construction activities. The role involves providing leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance, ensuring project quality, schedule, and budget adherence, and maintaining compliance with standards such as VA, FAR, NFPA, and OSHA.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture (or 14 years of relevant experience), licensure as an Architect or Engineer in Florida, at least 10 years of project management experience, and expertise in facility construction, especially in healthcare or utility buildings. Strong management, communication, and knowledge of construction documents are essential.
