As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Vault Cryptosec team, you will lead cryptographic projects ensuring security, scalability, and enterprise readiness for self-managed solutions.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and reviewing cryptographic workflows like PKI and HSM, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving complex technical issues.
You will mentor engineers, promote best practices, and support production reliability through on-call participation.
Required expertise includes 6+ years of engineering experience, proficiency in Golang, experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and a background in cryptographic systems such as PKI, HSM, or TLS.
Preferred skills include hands-on cryptographic system design and HashiCorp tools knowledge.
