Senior Business Analyst, Sales Operations Planning

Summary

The Senior Business Analyst role will lead improvement of global Sales and Operation Planning processes through collaboration with the user community and development of optimized processes that expand SAP Integrated Business Planning functionality and adoption globally. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary subject matter expert for SAP IBP application.  Responsibilities will include application upgrades, gathering and analyzing data to deliver business requirements for proposed projects, enhancements, related change management and some basic system administration.
  • Support business users globally with development of standard business processes, documentation, and training content.
  • Manage one or more projects/applications having cross-functional, global, and organizational implications.
  • Gather requirements from end users, facilitate business process discussions, and participate in solution design, documentation, test, and end user training.
  • Work as a liaison and subject matter expert between technical teams and business owners for system upgrades, root cause analysis, and solution recommendations.
  • Lead and apply governance policies and business structure to drive decisions with inputs from multiple stakeholders and communicate directly and independently with global stakeholders.

  • Establish metrics on performance including productivity improvements realized in Supply Chain Operations.
  • Present status updated, risks, mitigation plans and solution highlights to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for documentation and training of the operational organizations before program launch and the successful rollout of processes with no business interruption.​

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Management, Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Planning.
  • Candidate should have operational knowledge of SAP core modules PP-MM, APO or IBP a plus.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of policies, process and concepts related to S&OP and Demand Planning.
  • In depth understanding of business applications and cross functions.
  • Experience with business system project implementation phases.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, success-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
