The Senior Design Engineer will provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and sustaining fractional horsepower electric motors and motion products.
- Lead product design from concept to production, utilizing CAD and engineering analyses.
- Support testing, validation, and compliance activities to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate across functions to improve manufacturability, address technical issues, and support product launches.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
- Apply knowledge of magnetics, thermal management, and mechanical integrity to optimize designs.
Requirements include a bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with 10+ years of experience in electric motor design, CAD proficiency, and familiarity with standards like UL and IEC. Experience supporting products in production or field environments is preferred.
