Hydrostatic Tech - Day Shift

General Summary

The Hydrostatic Technician supports Compression & Process by performing and coordinating hydrostatic pressure testing on piping spools, vessels, and compression package components. This role ensures testing activities are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with quality, design, and customer requirements while supporting on-time delivery of production schedules. All duties are performed in alignment with core values, safety standards, and company policies. 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review isometric drawings to verify correct hydrostatic test pressures and requirements 
  • Prepare and complete hydrostatic test documentation and related paperwork 
  • Perform hydrostatic pressure testing in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards 
  • Communicate with supervisors and quality personnel regarding test plans, witness points, and deviations 
  • Identify materials including carbon steel and stainless-steel components 
  • Determine when distilled water or specified test media are required 
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures during testing activities 

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and pressure testing charts 
  • Experience using power tools, pneumatic tools, and overhead cranes 
  • Working knowledge of gaskets, bolting, and flange requirements for pressure testing 
  • Familiarity with flange charts and pressure ratings 
  • Ability to read and write in English;bilingual preferred but not required

Fast-paced, multi-process manufacturing environment. This position involves time-sensitive tasks and requires strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.
