Senior Substation Engineer - Physical
Lead the design and execution of EHV substations (230kV-765kV), ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Blend technical design with project leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior engineers.
Oversee layouts, protection & control systems, grounding, and equipment specs.
Interface with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to define scope and resolve issues.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple projects.
Develop engineering calculations, technical specifications, and detailed deliverables.
Supervise junior staff, ensure quality, and support internal standards.
Contribute to business development and technical strategy.
Require PE license, 12+ years experience, and proven EHV substation design expertise.
Proficiency in relevant software, standards, and studies is preferred.
Travel may be up to 10%.
Work location options include hybrid arrangements.
