Design Group is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst in our Shorewood, IL or Berwick, PA location to support the operations and logistics teams in budgets and forecasting.

WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?

In this role, the Senior Financial Analystwill be responsible forconsolidation/analysis of operational costs (both actual and standard) for manufacturing and logistics operations in the Americas.

This senior level position will providetimely financial KPI’s and analysis in liaison with our operations and logistics facilities, and workwith business on strategic sourcing and financial modelling to support the make vs buy decisions on request for quotes.

Attention to detail is a must as you will be monitoring actual cost and preparing regular reporting analysis and reviews of variances to standard. You will also beproviding reporting structure for consolidated inventory planning and obsolescence control. You may also provide other ad-hoc analysis as needed.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

Our perfect candidate is someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A minimum of 4 years of financial analyst experience and demonstrated understanding of general accounting knowledge in a manufacturing environment.

The Senior Financial Analystwill need to beproficient inspreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications and have experience with management accounting, GAAP requirements and forecasting. Experience in a seasonal and/or international business is a plus.

The person who will excel in this role will haveexcellent communication, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
