We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Architect for a 12-month extendable contract in Lake Forest, CA, to support global communication networks.
The role involves designing and evaluating IP traffic management, AAA access control, policy enforcement, and network service delivery, with expertise in DIAMETER, RADIUS, REST, SOAP, and JSON interfaces.
Key responsibilities include creating design proposals, evaluation/test plans, configuration standards, providing tier-4 escalation support, and collaborating with operations to ensure standards are met.
Qualifications include over 5 years in network systems engineering, 2+ years in API development or automation scripting, Unix/Linux experience, and strong knowledge of RADIUS, DIAMETER, deep packet inspection, and TCP/IP protocols.
Additional skills in Sandvine PTS, Ansible, excellent documentation, communication, problem-solving, and a proactive attitude are desired. A bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
