We are seeking a Senior Optoelectronics Process Development Engineer to collaborate with design, product, and operations teams in developing manufacturing processes for next-generation optics products.
Responsibilities include leading experiments using DOE methods, establishing manufacturing best practices, applying Six Sigma DMAIC for root cause analysis, conducting process capability studies, and developing process criteria for production readiness. The role involves analyzing data, driving process improvements, and researching new manufacturing methods.
Requirements include 5-10 years of experience in opto-electronics or microelectronics manufacturing with expertise in optical alignment or critical alignments like die attach, strong analytical skills, knowledge of mechanical design and GD&T, and the ability to manage multiple projects. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, Physics, or related field is required. Preferred experience includes opto-electronics assembly, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
Offering a salary of $110k-$140k plus benefits, this position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.
